Q - I only ship freight collect, does Transnet have a B/L only program?
A - All the Transnet systems also do freight rating, but please keep checking our web site, one is being worked on.

PRODUCT PRICING
Q - What are the cost of your products?
A - For dollar amount please Email or call. All of our rating systems are on an 'annual' basis, with no up front costs. This allows our product costs to paid for from savings in freight charges.
Q - What is not covered in the annual charge?
A - 1) Purchased rate bases. Transnet only installs rate data supplied to us by the carrier or you, the customer.
A - 2) Custom work. Custom work is done on a per job basis.
A - 3) Server setup. If your system is to be installed on a server there is a one time server setup charge in addition to the monthly charge.
Q - How much are Transnet upgrades?
A - Product upgrades, carrier rates and service are all included in the annual charge.
Q - Can we buy Transnet products as a one time purchase?
A - Because two of the major parts of our systems, the rates and service standards change frequently, the monthly charge allows us to keep all systems up to date.
CARRIERS
Q - What carries are included in Transnet programs?
A - Carries are 'included' based on your request, each program is custom built with your LTL carriers.
Q - Transnet says they can do 'any LTL carrier's rates,' which carriers do you work with?
A - Transnet works with your/our customers carriers. We do not have any 'core' carriers you need to work with, any carrier is added to your system only at your request.
NOTE - The following is a list of carriers our customer are/have been using. This list does not imply that these carriers endorse our rating systems nor that we endorse these carriers, this list is supplied only to show that Transnet can do 'any LTL rate.' If an LTL carrier is not on this list it only means that none of our customer are using that carrier.

Q - (As a carrier) how can I get my rates listed in your program?
A - Carriers rates can be included in a customers program only per a customers request.
Q - I currently have all my carriers on a single rate base, can I keep them on a single rate base and still use a Transnet system?
A - Yes, you can, but please look at the examples in our 'Rates' section for a better understanding on what doing so could be costing you.
PROGRAM MAINTENANCE
Q - How much work will I, the customer have to do once a Transnet system is installed?
A - Once a system is installed, the customer is responsible for keeping their pricing/discounts current. Also, the customer will need to install the updated rate and service files, which takes from a few seconds to a few minutes per update, depending on your computers speed.
Q - What maintenance does Transnet do?
A - Our annual rate covers any correcting any program problems/tech support, program updates, and updating carrier rate bases and service tables.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Q - Will Transnet work on Mac computers?
A - Transnet programs currently will only work with Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP.
FREIGHT QUOTES
Q - Can we call Transnet for freight quotes?
A - Transnet is a shippings systems company, we do not do any type of 'spot quotes' for freight.
